jeez i've been busy. only when you have a full time job do people beat down your door with contract work. it's one of those crazy laws. random thoughts and events from my recent life follow:
i'm almost finished reading all of Skeleton Key by Andi Watson and it is freaking awesome. if you enjoy comics which blend adventure and magic with realistic character and problems you must read these books. the dialog is funny and believable and art work gets better and better as the series goes on. now go forth to your local comic shops my minions. mwahahahaha.
from yesterday i present my entry in the "World's Clums

i've been too busy animating to write for a few days so here is my week in review. the good parts version.
The Week's Best Debate:
who would win in a fight The Predator or a Fat Superman?
it was decided that Fat Superman would win because, assuming that he could still fly at fantastic speeds his girth would just add to his kinetic force when he hit stuff. this did however assume that The Predator was not clever enough to employ kryptonite laced donuts possibly with lead icing to contain the radiation until it had been eaten.
The Week's Most Exciting Graphic Novel:

i have food again. SWEET ZOMBIE JESUS it's good to have food again.
i hadn't found the time to grocery shop for about three weeks at it was getting to the "what can a make with one stale tortilla, some tea bags, and half a bottle of olive oil?" point but now cupboards burst with plenty!
i've just finished a little slap together site for the Legend of the Five Rings Toronto Kotei 2004. it's not much to look at but it took a couple of hours to track down all the specific pieces of art they wanted for it. even so i couldn't find a shot of taka experienced version two and had to use version one instead. GRR. the site is at www.hairyt.co
